Chivas Regal 18YO was personally created by Colin Scott (Master Blender), incorporating over 20 single malt whiskeys from all over Scotland. The proof that it is a truly top-quality whiskey is the award from the prestigious IWSC competition where it won two awards “First Class Gold Medal” and “Trophy in the Blended Whiskey Competition”.
A very good balance can be seen on the aroma, and the aromas include orange peel, barley malt, vanilla and a slight touch of spices. The taste exudes solid fullness, ascoria on marmalade, dark chocolate and hints of wood, while the finish itself is extremely long, excellent balance with spicy notes from the barrel.
