Description
Single Barrel comes exclusively from barrels aged under the very roof of the Jack Daniel’s warehouse in Lynchburg. And it’s not about prestige and status, although this whiskey certainly deserves them.
Where it ages, the temperature varies, much more so than in the lower levels of storage. When it is very warm, the barrels expand and allow the whiskey to penetrate deep into the wood. As soon as it cools, the barrel returns, tightens and squeezes the whiskey with a deep oak aroma, back.
And it is precisely this journey of this whiskey that ensures its top quality. You may say that the road is long and slow, but if you would sit down and toast with Mr. Jack himself, he would surely tell you that time and patience are the two most important ingredients in his whiskey.
