Description
Pesquera Millenium Gran Reserva 2015 is a dry red wine obtained from the Tempranillo grape variety 100%.
Millenium red wine is made only with excellent vintages and comes from Vina Alta, the oldest estate that Alejandro Fernández planted in Pesquera de Duero in the late 1960s. This wine is the only wine that Familia Fernandez Rivera ages in French oak barrels. The age of the vines is about 25 years. Clay soil with lots of gravel.
Color: Red with an intense and shiny layer.
Aroma: Fruity aromas and well-integrated woody notes. Perfectly balanced with notes of black fruits such as currants and blackberries, to which are added aromas of licorice and spicy notes that mingle with notes of coffee.
Taste: A broad, full-bodied wine that fills the palate with its spectrum of aromas. It has a fine and elegant mouthfeel, is well structured and has tannins that will make this wine continue to develop in the bottle.
