Obtained by blending Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. The individual values of grape juices complement each other, without a predetermined proportion.
The ratio of Merlot and Cabernet depends on the year of harvest, that is, individual qualities from the specifics of the harvest. The wines are aged in wooden barrels of 225 l, as well as in wooden barrels of 5000 l. High content of extracts, tannins within suitable parameters for long aging give longevity to this wine.
In the richness of the fragrance and the entire structure of the wine, various scents intertwine, such as wild blueberries, overripe cherries, which predominate in the observations according to the individual moment of consumption. The taste is incredibly pronounced with fruity aromas, where the aromas of forest fruits stand out, which together with the perfect structure give this wine a smooth finish and which, like Canon, create a lofty myth and last long, clearly and noble.
Kanon is an ideal representative of archival wine, whose full value will only be revealed over time.
It is an ideal combination with red meat specialties and game meat, as well as different types of cheese.
