Description
Red wine created by selecting the best quality grapes of the Probus variety, has a red color permeated with purple shades. You will be delighted by the extremely strong fruit aromas in which you will easily recognize the notes of blue and red fruits, where the aromas of blueberry, blackberry and fresh blackcurrant come to the fore. Fruit tones are complemented by tones of mocha and cocoa.
The mouth is immediately full to the brim, and at the same time, a completely uncertain battle of powerful acid and sweetness armies begins on the tongue, where the primary, very fruity flavors will develop into spicy, earthy notes in the finish. It is as if the general and Roman emperor Probus himself, a native of these regions, rose to cut down all your sensory receptors with a sword of strong extraction. The name of this Serbian-Roman emperor is woven into the name as well as the origin of this wine, namely the number “276” indicates both the year of the coronation of Probus and the altitude of the vineyard of this variety, which is also the highest in Deurić.
The taste is very full and imbued with a richness of incredible juiciness and freshness and tannins that are strong and perfectly rounded with a perfect structure. On the palate, you will be delighted by the incredible aromas of ripe black mulberry with the premise of tones of forest fruit and dark chocolate, all finely rounded by tones of maraschino cherry that continue into a pleasant and long-lasting finish, after which you will surely want more.
It was created to accompany food and will go well with the whole range of local cuisine. Sufficient character and fullness, intense aromatics and supple acids make it an excellent pair for juicy kebabs, roasting under the stove or even beef perkelt. An ideal combination with specialties such as lamb chops and marinated pork ribs.
