Description
Red wine produced from the autochthonous Serbian variety of the same name, Prokupac – a synonym for viticulture in the Toplička region. It is characterized by an intense and persistent ruby color, on the nose aromas of red forest fruits, small cherries, floral notes of violets, cloves, cedar and tobacco with a spicy aroma. An abundance of primary, pleasant fruit aromas will grab your attention at the first sniff. Crushed wild blackberries, red currants and overripe black cherries line up, enveloped in developed and fully tamed oak aromas, evoking warm toast and sweet, spicy notes.
The taste is dry and has a soft structure with a nice mineral character and woody tannins with a perfectly rounded taste, making this wine ideal for enjoyment.
It is an ideal combination with red meat specialities, as well as with grilled meat, goulash and stewed dishes. A wine that goes well with all the specialties of Serbian cuisine.
