JELIČKI DUKAT carries in itself the spirit of the past and forgotten traditional values, but also the new age that is ahead of us. It combines a traditional recipe with the most modern technology, elegant and modern packaging, but also the immediacy and warmth of the Serbian countryside.
JELIČKI DUKAT is a drink with a unique bouquet that also contains tradition. It is an amber (golden yellow) drinkable drink. It has a rounded taste dominated by oak tones, but with the velvety presence of plum. The meadows and forests that surround the orchard also bring in fluttering floral tones. The old oak barrels in which DUKAT matures for 12 years made it closer to cognac than brandy.
The production of plum cake is a tradition of the Prodanović family as old as the family itself, whose roots in the Čačan region go back to the 18th century. The winds that whip our country, our people, and thus the Prodanović family have made old, aged brandy worth as much as a ducat. Brandy represented a pledge for a safer but always uncertain future. She educated her children, married her sons, married her daughters, paid taxes and made it possible to wait for tomorrow with joy and optimism. 12 years of aging in oak barrels gave JELIČKI DUKAT a golden yellow, amber color with a refined taste.
