Description
Wine whose character is determined by the grape varieties and the climate in which it is produced. It is characterized by intense fruity aromas that are reminiscent of blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant. Very fruity and refreshing with fine tannins and an energetic finish.
The taste is exceptional, full, complex, fine tannic structure with aromas of roasted prunes, tobacco, vanilla and discreet notes of mint resulting from long-term aging in the finest oak barrels. Must be decanted for aeration.
Vineyard size: Cabernet Sauvignon: 14.5 ha, Merlot: 12.5 ha.
Vineyard altitude: 270 m – 320 m
Location of the vineyard: South and Southeast exposure
Excellent with all kinds of meat, especially barbecue and roasts. Ideal with: prosciutto, strong pastas and pies with meat, risotto with Parmesan cheese, cold pork, lamb, game stews, hot sausages, medium-roasted steaks and mature strong cheeses.
