Description
An incredible wine of the Sauvignon Blanc variety, it is characterized by a beautiful light shade of straw-yellow color that gives it transparency in the glass. When you inhale, you can feel an incredible fruity aroma full of minerality, imbued with the scents of grapefruit, lime, boxwood and peach. You can also smell hints of freshly cut grass.
In your mouth, you will feel a distinctly fresh taste with crisp acids in wonderful harmony with the fruity flavors of grapefruit, lime and fig. If you taste it slightly chilled, the acids will be so strong that they will completely suppress the fine aromas and flavors of ripe citrus, papaya, mango, and even a little noticeable pepper that develops beautifully at a slightly higher temperature. In general, this is a relatively simple wine for quick consumption, fluffy on the nose, ideal for warm days and the gastronomy that accompanies them. The wine is extractive, smooth, lively but balanced acids with a clean, clear fruity finish.
Various salads, seafood, light fish such as perch, goat cheese mousse are the first recommendation, while grilled mirot cheese is a favorite pairing of Nikola Mladenović Matalje, who made this cheese on purpose. Strong but balanced acids from the wine turn heavily salted food into real delicacies, and the long-lasting fresh finish will make you remember not only the food but also this special sauvignon of the Negotin region.
