Description
The Gewürztraminer variety is one of the 18 noble wine varieties, often called “adult” Muscat. The prefix “gewürz” translated as “spicy” refers to the aromatics of this variety that originates from Northern Italy (formerly South Tyrol). Virtus Gewurztraminer is a surprisingly dry wine, but due to its intense aroma, increased alcohol content and slightly lower total acid content, it seems sweeter than it actually is.
The white wine created by selecting the highest quality Gewurztraminer grapes has a beautiful light yellow hue. The most characteristic smell of Gewurztraminer is the aroma of lychee, rose root, while at the same time aromas of red grapefruit, ginger, pineapple and burnt incense can be recognized. The taste has a beautiful dose of elegance with a very soft structure, which thanks to its freshness creates a long-lasting and pleasant finish that will definitely leave you wanting more. Refined and moderately full-bodied, this wine, well chilled, is a real pleasure even on warm summer days.
