Description
Altesino Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine produced from the indigenous Sangiovese variety. Brunello di Montalcino is the ambassador of top Italian wines around the world and the first wine to receive the DOCG label (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita). Grapes are harvested by hand, while vilification takes place in the traditional way. The wine ages for 2 years in oak barrels and a minimum of 4 months in the bottle, with an aging potential of up to 20 years.
Colour: Ruby red with garnet shades.
Smell: Notes of violets, plums, black currants, dried herbs and ginger.
Taste: Dry, warm, velvety, sumptuous and exceptionally elegant.
