Hennessy VSOP is back on our market after a long time. Hennessy VSOP is a blend of 60 different Eux-De-Vie (water of life) distillates obtained from the Ugni Blanc grape variety, which comes from the Borderies, Fins Bois, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne appellations. The distillates are aged for at least four years, and the oldest distillate in the blend matures for fifteen years exclusively in French Limousin oak barrels.
The aroma is reminiscent of apricots, apples, cloves and cinnamon. on the taste you can recognize classic vanilla and barrel notes accompanied by a light taste of fruit, cinnamon, cloves, honey and candied fruit.
Hennessy VSOP is probably the most famous cognac in the world, and it is certainly often used as a benchmark for cognacs from other producers in the same category.
