Collavini Villa Canlungo Pinot Grigio from Collio Goriziano in Italy’s Friuli-Venezia Giulia wine region is a single varietal Pinot Grigio from Eugenio Collavini. The soil in the hilly area is rich in sandstone with alternating layers of marl, which produces aromatic wines. It is planted to a density of 4,500 to 5,000 per hectare.
Colour: Straw yellow.
Nose: A full-bodied bouquet with delicate spiciness and aromas of hay, fresh walnuts and roasted almonds.
Taste: Refreshingly juicy, dry and medium sour, with notes of green apple, notes of ripe citrus, notes of pear and a hint of herbs.
