Description
From the oblivion of history, it returns again. Prokupac, the king of Župa, wine that ruled the Župa vineyards for centuries and spread its fame far and wide. This natural wine is made in the traditional way.
This pro-bather will surprise you already on the nose. A very fruity scent, lots of black fruits, blackberries and blueberries above all, but also a wonderful aroma of homemade plum jam, with distinctive spicy, peppery notes. There is also some woodiness in the background, soft and sweet, which nicely complements the base aromatic profile. In the mouth, moderate fullness, excellent freshness and again a strong fruity impression, this time supplemented with a little aroma of red fruit, say cherries. There are not too many tannins, but they are enough to give the wine firmness and persistence in the finish.
Dull ruby color, fresh and complex aroma of ripe red fruit, together with a moderate, fine and well-balanced structure, will perfectly suit the sublime tones of traditional Serbian cuisine. Of course, meat is something that naturally grazes him, primarily lamb under the comb, young veal or pork shoulder. Try it with mushrooms on cream, dishes with truffles or a good, classic steak tartare.
